A Discovery Call: The Conversation That Could Change Your Money Story

Hi, I'm Wendy Wright, Financial Therapist and Money Coach.

If you're here, chances are, money has been taking up more space in your life than you'd like.

Maybe you're feeling anxious about it.
Maybe you're tired of avoiding it.
Maybe you've read the books, tried the budgets, listened to the podcasts, and still find yourself stuck in the same patterns.

You don't need another lecture about money. You need a space to talk about what's really going on.

What Is a Discovery Call?

A discovery call is a free 20-minute video conversation where we get to meet each other and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.

It's not a financial planning session.
It's not investment advice.
And it's definitely not a high-pressure sales call.

It's simply a chance to have a real conversation about what brings you here.

I'll ask a few questions like:

How did you discover financial therapy?
What made you curious enough to learn more?
What challenges are you hoping to change in your relationship with money?

Then, I'll share more about my approach, how financial therapy works, and what working together might look like.

Who Is This Call For?

This call may be a good fit for you if:

Money keeps you awake at night.
You feel shame, stress, or overwhelm around finances.
You avoid looking at numbers because they feel emotionally loaded.
You find yourself repeating the same money patterns over and over.
You're ready to understand the deeper story underneath your money challenges.

You do not need to have everything figured out before we talk.

In fact, most people don’t.

Many money struggles aren't actually about math. They're about fear. Shame. Avoidance. Old beliefs. Past experiences. And the stories you've been carrying for years.

Financial therapy creates space to approach those patterns with curiosity instead of criticism.

My goal is to help you move out of money fog and into greater clarity and confidence—not through judgment, but through understanding.

What You Can Expect to Leave With

Even after this brief conversation, many people tell me they feel:

  • Relieved to talk about money openly
  • Less alone in what they're experiencing
  • More hopeful that change is possible
  • Clearer about their next step

Because sometimes the beginning of financial healing isn't a budget. It's finally feeling understood.
